ZUKHRUFA is a peer-reviewed national journal published biannually by Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah (STIT) Darul Hijrah Martapura. It serves as a platform for publishing research results from students. The focus of the journal is to highlight aspects related to Early Childhood Islamic Education. The journal is published biannually in May and November.

This journal is an open-access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge for the user or his/her institution. It allows anyone to submit research results in the form of articles directly. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

 

 

Focus and Scope

The Focus Zukhrufa is a periodical journal published by Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah  (STIT) Darul Hijrah Martapura, South Kalimantan, serving as a platform for publishing student research findings. The journal focuses on contemporary issues in early childhood Islamic education, such as local wisdom, urban contexts, and multiculturalism. Focus Zukhrufa accepts manuscripts from students for the direct publication of their research articles, particularly those addressing topics related to early childhood Islamic education.

Peer Review Process

Zukhrufa Journal uses the COPE Ethics Guidelines for Peer Review, and the basic principles that must be adhered to by peer reviewers are mentioned below. The Basic principles to which peer reviewers should adhere. Peer reviewers should:

  • only agree to review manuscripts for which they have the subject expertise required to carry out a proper assessment and which they can assess in a timely manner
  • respect the confidentiality of peer review and not reveal any details of a manuscript or its review, during or after the peer-review process, beyond those that are released by the journal
  • not use information obtained during the peer-review process for their own or any other person’s or organization’s advantage, or to disadvantage or discredit others
  • declare all potential conflicting interests, seeking advice from the journal if they are unsure whether something constitutes a relevant interest
  • not allow their reviews to be influenced by the origins of a manuscript, by the nationality, religious or political beliefs, gender or other characteristics of the authors, or by commercial considerations
  • be objective and constructive in their reviews, refraining from being hostile or inflammatory and from making libelous or derogatory personal comments
  • acknowledge that peer review is largely a reciprocal endeavor and undertake to carry out their fair share of reviewing and in a timely manner
  • provide journals with personal and professional information that is accurate and a true representation of their expertise

recognize that impersonation of another individual during the review process is considered serious misconduct
